The Freedom of being good enough-the paradox of self-acceptance and change with sita menon

Sita Menon, Forrest Yoga Guardian Teacher and Director of Evolve Yoga Berlin, is back at Sukha Yoga to teach a workshop at the 29th of December from 1:30-5:30pm

As the end of the year approaches and we prepare to head into the new year, the time with ripe with New Year resolutions of new beginnings and changes. Yet, most new year resolutions never quite hold beyond a few weeks. Most of us approach these new year resolutionsfrom a place of lack, from aplace of not being good enough.

Lets explore how the energy around these intens shift when we approach these intents from a space of "good enough". It is a curious paradox that when we are willing to accept ourselves where we are, change becomes easier to access.

We will explore an energising practice of twists and build up into very accessible arm balances (all levels), while exploring the felt sense of grounded freedom and feeling enough at a cellular level. From this space of good enough, we will explore the shifts that need to arise as dictated by the body.

We will start with the Native Amarican Ceremony of calling the Four Directions and Chanting, follow this with an invigorating practice and end with some journaling and a rejuvinating Yoga Nidra practice to integrate the realizations from the experience.

Bring paper and pen, 2 mats (one for practice, one to roll up), any noise maker or if you have a drum bring it along too
